How's it?

ALoha family and friends!

For those faithful readers out there wondering --what happened to the Hawaiian Schwabs? They must be too sunburned to sit down and compose a post on their blog !

Well, this isn't exactly true -- its been pretty cold for us -- a whopping 60 degrees! We haven't even been to the beach until recently. Now that winter is hopefully coming to a close for ALL of us and our friends and family, I felt that I had to take a moment and say that Noah is growing bigger and talking and walking and meeting so many wonderful friends here. It's been a great experience for us to be in such a welcoming and amazing place!

Rachel is about to become a half-time pastor at the Hanapepe UCC church, about 40 minutes from where we live in Kapaa. It has been wonderful to have this dream come true -- the dream of a church where Noah sits at my feet while I preach and helps me serve communion by pointing to the bread and loudly announcing "bread!".

Noah is such a trouper -- Noah and mom travelled to San Diego, CA to attend a CHristian Educator's conference and to visit with friends. Noah got to go to the San Diego Zoo -- his first zoo! Oh yea -- I did actually learn something too!

Chris is doing well -- working hard as a Pastor of the Kapaa First Hawaiian CHurch and is taking the advanced class in the Hawaiian Language. Congrats!

MOre later -- I promise! Rachel, CHris and Noah
